Electrical Burning Smell

Recommended Posts

I have an electrical burning smell in the area of my stove while driving. It is a 2003 Fleetwood Bounder and I have looked everywhere for the source.

I have been wondering if it could be the inverter since it is not a pure sine wave inverter. Has anyone experienced this problem?

What model Bounder? Do you still have the original refrigerator? There is no electrical going to the gas stove. Have you run/used the the convection oven?

We need more info!  Did you convert your gas stove to an electric or induction?  How about fridge and where is it located in regards to stove?

Or another possible source.  I know you said you smelled it near the kitchen but if you have an electric blanket, most of the controls won't live through the non-pure sine wave inverters.  The smoke definitely escapes.  The smell could be moving up that far in the coach.  Don't ask me how I know.  Just a thought.
