Dash Lights Staying On

Yes I am stumped and need some direction. Friend of mine is parked next to us and his dash lights and buzzer will not go off even with the key out. What do we start looking for?

With no more info it sounds like a bad ignition switch.

That's about all I have turn the key to on position buzzer goes off, turn key off buzz comes on along with the dash lights

See if the light switch has either headlights or parking lights on.

Your ignition switch may not be breaking contact when turned off...turn on it works, off it's still on.  I would pull the switch.

Either ignition switch or more likely IGNITION SOLENOID.  The ignition switch triggers/closes the ignition solenoid.  The points in the ignition solenoid may be welded closed.

X2, disconnect the chassis battery to make it stop till repairs can be made.

And, if it is the ignition solenoid, often a light, sharp rap will temporarily free it up if points are stuck.

Thanks He did unhook the battery till we leave and he will have it check out Thanks for all yalls help
