bgreen Report post Posted December 30, 2017 I have Flexsteel Captains Chairs in 08 Tiffin Allegro Bus. The passenger side will not hold recline position. If you are sitting in it going down the road and lean on the arm rest at all the back comes all the way forward. I assume there is a ratchet pawl or something that has gone bad and wondering if that is something you can get parts for and replace as well has how difficult it might be to get to the part to replace it? It does not appear I can easily see the parts unless I perhaps start to remove the back upholstery. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

hermanmullins Report post Posted December 30, 2017 bgreen, Take a look on the left side of the passengers seat. there should be two levers. One is for the rotate and the other is for recline. Both of these are connected from the lever to there respective job. Take a look at the back of the two levers and their cables. Your recline lever cable may be stuck. May need one of two things. One just a bit of spray lube or two replacement of the cable. If second then a call to Flexsteel is in order. Herman Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
