wildebill308 Report post Posted February 6, 2018 Welcome to the forum. Have you called Newmar to see if they have a scamatic or print on how it is installed. Bill
manholt Report post Posted February 6, 2018 Don. Welcome! Do you have a photo of your bed & headboard? In 50 years + and 17 coaches, I have never had one with a headboard.
hermanmullins Report post Posted February 6, 2018 Carl, I have seen coaches with head boards before. They are mounted on the rear wall on a coach with no slides or on the slide out wall. They are not in the sense as ones on your bed in the house that have side rails or a frame. They do attach to the wall. Don, Take a look along the very bottom of the Hd. Bd. and see if there may be a screw holding the bottom to the wall. It may be held down and when removed the Hd. Bd. will slide up and off. This is just a thought. manholt Report post Posted February 6, 2018 OK. That explains it. All my non-slide coaches had rear bath's and bunk beds!
elkhartjim Report post Posted February 6, 2018 Our Newmar has a headboard for the king size bed and it's in the slide out. If I remember, and that's a big if, I'll look at mine today and see how it's attached. Like Bill suggested, call Newmar customer support.
