The weekend weather in Katy / Houston area is starting to frustrate a lot of folks.  This coming weekend, March 10 & 11, will be the EIGHT consecutive weekend with rain!!.  All of the nice sunny weather is happening in the middle of the week.  Not much incentive to take the motorhome for a weekend adventure to do nothing but count raindrops!  Someday this thing called a career will pass and then the wife and I can enjoy any day of the week in a nice RV resort somewhere.

And now I have upset grandchildren because career demands made me forget to get a reservation in a Texas State Park near Houston for Memorial Day weekend.  All of the spots for a 40 foot motorhome are now gone!  I'm in the family dog house for a while....

I know what you mean. Two days ago it was 90, a front came through yesterday and dropped the temperature to a bone chilling 66 degrees. Hopefully it will get up in the 70's today.

Ah! On the road. Week in Gulfport, MS., two weeks in P'Cola, cabin fever diminishing. No telling where our leisurely trek back will take us.

Do you mean biscuits and SOS? I love that and impossible to find good around here.

All we got is Quinn, Riley and now Skylar.

There saying blizzard with 14” here give me a break. now that I’m retired I won’t get called out in the middle of the night. Don’t miss that. This time the worse is supposed to happen at low tide the people by the shore will get a break.

To me SOS is made with chipped beef. Had a lot of that in the military. Great on eggs over easy.

Sausage and gravy is sausage paddies all broken up and cooked in the rich thick creamy gravy.

Big difference.

Joe,

Today was DRUNCH (Dinner and Lunch) at Lambert's in Foley, AL. Home of the tossed rolls. Temperatures were only in the high 50's and low 60's.

Come on down,

Yesterday was torrential rain and TS in LA.  Looked at Radar in PM...Wayne must have been in the only dry spot, within 500 miles!  Had friends that left Morgan City, LA. at 8am, headed for Mobil, AL. and then Hwy. 65 to Montgomery, they got hammered and only made it to Hollywood Casino RV Park, in Bay of St. Louis, Miss. 140+/- miles in 6 hours!!!

Linda and I ended up in Frog City RV Park, Duson, LA. 77 miles in 4 hours...Like a cow pissing on a flat rock...we could not see!

Today, going back into Texas and staying in Schulenburg RV Park...62 lots of sun and wind.  Currently 52 Brrrr!!!

As a kid growing up in Wyoming during the 1970's/80's I can sympathize with you folks still fighting snow and cold during what is "Spring" on the calendar!   Folks around the greater Houston area this morning had to "struggle" with abnormally "cold" temps in the mid 40's and an abnormally dry afternoon with humidity only at 30% with a bright, sunny sky and 65 F temp.  It' much too gorgeous of a day to have to sit behind a desk!   I'd rather be with the motorhome at a Texas State Park enjoying this terrific weather!

Linda & I played golf today, with a friend...69/sun/no wind/26% humidity! It felt good to shot a 45/47, since it was the first time to play in 11 months!  We have 50% chance of rain, Sat & Sun, but it's suppose to be 72....I can handle that..:P:)

I could type a few paragraphs here but to make it brief and clean:

I really dislike the winter here this month.
