rvharry Report post Posted June 14, 2019 I have had some body damage work done on drivers front and along drives side due to someone running into headlight. After the repair I noticed a bump below drivers excape door. After a recent trip, I noticed upper right of two piece windshield had dropped. I believe this is a result of improper repair. I few months ago, I had seen an "RV DOCTOR" article about front caps and there close tolerances to create windshied slippiage. Has anyone seen article and can point it out to me. Thanks is advance, I am RVHARRY Harry Williams
hermanmullins Report post Posted June 14, 2019 Harry, It would be a great deal of help if we know the make and model of your coach. Pictures would also be good. Herman
rayin Report post Posted June 17, 2019 Is this the article? http://www.rvdoctor.com/2013/09/windshield-pops-from-seal.html
manholt Report post Posted June 17, 2019 That's more than a "Few months back"! It would apply with split and one piece windshield...is your coach a Tiffin? If so, I would suggest a trip to Red Bay, there are some really good body shops there & their expertise is not limited to Tiffin!
