Sue46 Report post Posted July 12, 2019 OK. I need new tires. Currently, have Michelin 255/80 R22.5 G on my MH. Would like to switch to Toyo(M154) or Hankook(AH22). How do I figure out what size I need in the Toyo and Hankook, neither have the 255's.

hermanmullins Report post Posted July 12, 2019 Sue, I believe the recommended Toyo Tire for and RV would be their M144. Just purchased 6 for my coach. Not sure on the Hankook.
wildebill308 Report post Posted July 12, 2019 Sue46, welcome to the forum. You might find this tire size comparison tool helpful. The one Brett posted is close, it is only slightly shorter. Said anouther way at an indicated 60 mph on your speedometer you would actually be going 59.2 mph. https://tiresize.com/comparison/ Any questions feel free to ask. tireman9 Report post Posted July 16, 2019 If changing the tire size on any RV where you have "Dual" tires on an axle (two tires next to each other on the end of one axle) Be sure to check the specification for "Minimum Dual Spacing". If you go with tires that are wider there is a possibility they might touch which in extreme cases can lead to tire failure. Here is a post from my RV Tire blog specifically on this safety concern. There are some other posts on "Dual" tires and proper matching you might want to at least review so you have a little better understanding.
