Diamond Shield Disappointment

Recommended Posts

Then you have Mold-Infestation under paint that will continue to grow.

The best you can do, and a lot less expensive then painting, is to remove the DS and keep the front waxed and polished.

Crazy thought:  What about painting over a mold-infested DS?

Mine had severe cracks on the surface that would come through the paint.

Painting over the Diamond Shield....There is no sane shop that would do that unless the warranty ends at the curb!!! No it has to be removed.  Hey it only takes time and persistance to remove. Do that yourself and save a bundle, spend the savings on a nice refinish and a 6 pack of your choice.
