Replacing Michelin XZA3 Steer Tires - Best Choice?

Recommended Posts

I'm replacing my two steer tires due to age and a cut in the tread of one of the tires. I don't think Michelin makes the exact same tire any longer Michelin  XZAR3 275/80 R 22.5 Looking at the price list in the FMCA tire program, I don't see anything close in numerical name.. I like the current tires, what's going to be the closest that I can get to the original? Sticking with Michelin tires...

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I'm running Hankook AH37 all around on my 04 Holiday Rambler that has the same size tires. This is my second set of Hankooks, ran first set for 50k mile no noticeable wear, replaced them after running them 7 years.

  1. My last set of Michelin's, 315/80 steer, 295/80 drive & tag...they lasted 2 month's shy of 5 years!  June 14, I replaced all 8, with BF Goodrich 315/80, now have over 7,000 miles on them & will never pay premium for Michelin's again...BF & M is the same tire, M is advertised so you pay more, BF is not.  $3,000 diff in price!
  2. Hankook, Toyo, Kelly, Continental, all good tires for our application!
