1.   Never seen a 5'er that small.

2.  Why double axle?

3. Photoshop?

That is an accurate and original, untouched photograph. I took it Sep. 19, 2005 according to the metadata. I have no idea where in the West it was taken.

This says on the front it is a Chevrolet, the year is up for debate. The tires looked original:

This unit is on another post on the Forum...about 4 years ago, we went around and around about it.  There was brands in  1969-73 that pretty much looked the same. I think the raised roof is an add on by owner, most models back then was on a Dodge chassis and engine, but there was exceptions!

I would send the picture to the FMCA Motorhome Museum in Elkheart, IN.  Almost looks like a forerunner to the GMAC !

It also could very well be a home made coach...lot's of people was building their own back then and even earlier!

This is not the first time I've put the picture on the internet, can't remember where though. Not home-made, it has the chrome Chevrolet name on the front. The raised roof allows standing upright except for the cockpit area. I seem to recall someone said what range of years they were made. That area does look home-made though, the rear storage area is also made of wood.

I've got to take a day trip over there and get better pictures if it is still in that parking lot.

I would very much like to know what brand it is!  I was not in the US much, between early 1969 to 1973.  I sold my 1967 WB in 1971 and bought a new Llando in 73, so I missed a lot of funky brands.

He don't need chap-stick, needs a big tube of Hemorrhoid cream!

When we are getting ready to go somewhere exciting, I'll get dressed and invariably have to wait a half hour or so. She'll look at me and say, "You're wearing THAT!" and I reply, "What!"

She says, "That tie doesn't go with your shirt." So she'll go to the tie rack and pick one out for me and I change my tie.

The 30 minutes go by and she steps out and says, "How do I look?"

Now I'm the guy who can't dress himself and she's asking me how she looks. Sheesh!

Of course I know the answer so without hesitation I say, "Great."

Use your imagination for a picture.

Nest time I'll post in what, where when. I can't find the delete button.

When I was last married.  I went thru that on all occasions, including, go change, your clashing with what I'm wearing!  Since I'm not married, I've not heard that from Linda, but suspect it's right around the corner, as soon as the M word is reality again! :P  I at least don't have any ties, now I use a Bollo!

Wait until you begin dressing alike, just sayin. Bolo ties, me too! I have one made by the Hopi Indians in 1950's, per the jewelry appraiser.

Most likely. But if I know DOT regulations he would have to get a permit at every state line he would cross and possibly need an escort.
