hermanmullins Report post Posted June 11, 2020 Welcome to the Forum. All depends on several things. Is It automatic or standard? Is your dolly steerable or fixed wheels? Let us know and we can be of help. Herman

kaypsmith Report post Posted June 12, 2020 EZ tow dolly has a fixed plate for the car to sit on, therefore, if your steering has a locking mechanism, you will need to unlock it, probably the key has a position that will release the lock and not drain the battery. Since the Rav4 is front wheel drive only, all you need to do is to pull the front wheels onto the dolly, put the car in park, do not set the parking brake. Strap the wheels to the dolly and any safety chains that were provided with the dolly, store the ramps, make sure the lights and brakes on the dolly are hooked up and working. Happy tales and trails. wildebill308 Report post Posted June 12, 2020 Just make sure it is just a front wheel drive. The all wheel drive can't be towed on a dolly. Bill
