Rkallop Report post Posted November 10, 2020 2 days ago everything was working on my 99 Safari Trek 24' diesel. I replaced filter on generator, ran for a few minutes and now I have no power to dash area. No ignition, no radio, no levelers, no gauges, no head lights and no majic bed. The fuse box in engine area, all fuses getting power and are good. Fuse box under dash, only 5 fuses getting power. House batteries are 100%, salesman switch is on. Shore power on and running but the AC reset switch is on but the red light is not on and the 110V receptacle does not work
frank.bergamo Report post Posted November 10, 2020 Ignition solenoid would be my first place to look. Hope this helps.
rayin Report post Posted November 10, 2020 To me that sounds like a loose connection or broken wire inside the coating that got nudged when you changed the filter.
wildebill308 Report post Posted November 10, 2020 Like Ray said, it sounds like a loose connection. Probably on the firewall where you have several harnesses going into the coach. Bill
hermanmullins Report post Posted November 10, 2020 I will go with Frank, Ignition Solenoid. Quick check, turn key on and with a volt meter check for 12 volts on both large lugs. Both lugs 12 volt solenoid good, 12 volt one side solenoid bad. Herman
