Need suggestion for strategy to safely get out

Recommended Posts

If you're doing strength training, for example, lift lighter weights or do fewer reps or sets. For most people, simply drinking plenty of water is sufficient. But if you're working out especially hard or doing a marathon or triathlon, choose drinks that replace fluids plus essential electrolytes.

"Mac the Fire Guy" used to put on some VERY GOOD seminars at the FMCA International Rallies.  Take a few minutes to watch this YouTube video he made about RV safety.  At the 11 minute mark, you shows the ladder he had made for exactly the problem the OP describes.  One thing he always recommends about exiting out that window is to grab the blankets off the bed and put them over the bottom window sill to make it easier on you as you exit.

Here's another VERY GOOD video by Mac The Fire Guy:

Another Mac The Fire Guy YouTube Video on exiting your RV through the emergency exit widow - MUST WATCH!

"One thing he always recommends about exiting out that window is to grab the blankets off the bed and put them over the bottom window sill to make it easier on you as you exit."  -- excellent common-sense action that probably hasn't occurred to most of us.
