hermanmullins Report post Posted February 24, 2021 Albert, Welcome to the Forum. Boy, what a wide open question. There are so many variables here. Do you want one to light up an area or one to direct light on an object? Do you want one like a Coleman lantern with a mantle or Battery operated? Kind of like which is best Chevrolet, Ford, Chrysler and so on. Hope you find what you like, and again Welcome. Herman
wildebill308 Report post Posted February 24, 2021 Welcome to the forum. It has been my experience if it says Coleman on it it will do what it says it will do. Bill
richard5933 Report post Posted February 24, 2021 Are you looking for a traditional lantern or something more modern which will light up an area? Lots of new options out there, so you'll need to narrow this down a bit so we can focus our recommendations towards your plan.
wayne77590 Report post Posted February 25, 2021 I would suggest an LED Lantern. Better safety over oil/fuel, lower battery consumption and brighter light. images At a rally a friend had one that he tied a rope on and hung it high in a tree. Provide a lot of light.
