2005 National Islander RV

Recommended Posts

We are in need of black water discharge motor for National islander RV. It opens and shuts valve for waste ... With it shut, it buzzes all the time ... Camping World told us the motor was burned out ... They seem to be having trouble locating one. Can anyone HELP?

Kind Regards, Richard Boen

I don't know anything about your specific RV, but those motors generally have an electronic stop to them that will shut it off when it gets to the limit switch. If you don't have any luck finding one right away, give some thought to either pulling the fuse to it, or putting a shut off switch in line with the ground side fo the motor. Without any voltage to it I am thinking it should stop buzzing. When you need it, just put the fuse back in, or turn the extra switch on to provide voltage, open it up, drain, and when finished and closed, pull the fuse or turn off the switch again.

Just a thought rambling through my brain housing group.
