wayne77590 Report post Posted May 29, 2021 Trust me, even the owner's manual may be incorrect. I once had a suspicion and contacted the manufacturer of some car (way back when) and they said it was not towable 4 down and that the manual was a "cut and paste" from the previous year and they they were correcting it. HMCSW Report post Posted November 11, 2021 I reached out to Jeep regarding towing. The issue that people were having was with the braking system. The manufacturer got back with the process to inactivate the active braking. This will avoid the Jeep from applying too much brake. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
