earlb Report post Posted February 14, 2012 On a recent trip to Los Vegas, I had two occurrences of the Terrain radically swerving back and forth and had to actually stop the RV to make it quit. Once was while traveling at approx 60 mph, did a sweeping s turn and the car was swerving when we came out of it. The other incident was from a stop sign, it began swerving (rocking back and forth) and had to stop again to make it stop. Has anyone else experience anything like this? I have towed a Saturn for over 15K without incident. I have a very long trip planned for this summer and am concerned that there may be a problem with the Terrain. desertdeals69 Report post Posted February 15, 2012 How's the front end alignment? Sounds like it needs more caster. Back in the 70's when we towed VW beetles we would have to put bungee cords on the steering wheel to prevent that very thing.
