Hi, everyone

Recommended Posts

Hi. We are Joe and Karen we have been camping for about 35 years. We started in a tent, moved up to a sleeper van, rented motor homes and finally purchased a 1996 Pace Arrow that we enjoyed until February of this year. This year we purchased a 2007 National RV TropiCal that is 36' long, has three slideouts and runs on diesel. It was a great deal, as it had never been sold and National went out of business.

We love camping in the western states and we especially love Oregon. We really enjoy going to Collier State Park in Oregon -- it is a great place to relax and have fun. The campsite has full hookups and is awsome. It's right by the river and the fishing is great! Nothing like cooking fish outdoors and enjoying the peace of it all. We also really like Wyoming, Texas, Utah, Colorado and so on ....

Looking forward to Summer... Oregon for four weeks with the family and our 4-year-old grandson.

We have a 2007 National RV, Tropical Diesel Pusher with a Freightliner Chassis and a Caterpillar engine, it is extremely roomy and comfortable so we figure it will carry us through our retirement. We still both work but when we do retire in a couple of years we are planning to travel for a three or four months at a time, camp, meet people, have fun and then come home check out the house, see the family for a while and off again, and hopefully some of the time the family will come to us and we can all have fun together.
