New RV Volunteer Opportunity -Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserve

Question

Just received the below information regarding Jean Lafitte NHP.

The NHP & Preserve recently completed construction on 2 new RV Volunteer Sites.

LOUISIANA

Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve = 2 Full Hookup pull through RV Volunteer Sites located at Barataria Preserve, additional RV Volunteer Site improvements are planned

RV Volunteer Positions can be applied for through Volunteer.gov RV Volunteer sites may not be available for all positions.

The current Volunteer vacancy announcement may not list the availability of the new RV Volunteer Sites. The Park can be contacted for more specifics. Jean Lafitte NHP

As additional information regarding site improvements and additional RV Volunteer Sites becomes available this thread will be updated.

The picture is of the Barataria Preserve Unit. That's the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, which is definitely big, but is dwarfed by the Mississippi itself. The barge tows are bigger, and the river can also handle huge cruise ships, container ships, and bulk shipping.
