desertdeals69 Report post Posted March 8, 2013 I use a camping sleep mat from Walmart. They cost about $8 and I hold them on with 6 foot bungee cords. Absolutely the best protection from rocks and other debris. Been throught Alaska and everywhere else without a mark on the front of my Silverado. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

five Report post Posted March 8, 2013 My OEM rock guard keeps anything from hitting the front of the toad, thus eliminating the need for a car shield. marcrv Report post Posted March 12, 2013 We use a Protect-a-tow It is easy to set up, works well, relatively inexpensive. The drawback is it is not too durable. Towed about 16,000 miles last year and it will need replacing in another year, for sure.
