50 Amp EMS Display Panel

Recommended Posts

I have a 2003 Endeavor with the problem of the EMS DISPLAY PANEL goes out at times. Then comes back after some time-- some times 4 hrs. Then again longer.

What do I do or what steps do I take?

Any ideals?

Thanks for any help I can get.

Good morning Derge,

Welcome to FMCA!

Could you list the Make and Model of your EMS system just to make sure I'm on the same page and I will see what I can find!

This is what I'm thinking in the meantime:

Does your EMS panel problem show up just on Shore Power and or when the Generator is running ?

Do you have the owners manual?

Control board Connector J6-- Pins #3 and #1 are used to inform the system of the presents of 120 or 240 volts AC.

When the generator is running there is 12 volts DC present at
Connector J2----Pin #2 on the control board informing the system that
power is being supplied from the generator.

When working on the system connections, Make Sure you are
disconnected from shore power and the generator is nut running. Also its
a good idea to turn off the inverter, to eliminate any 120 / 240 volts
from the system.

The only item that I can not really ID is connector J6, all the other connectors are clearly labeled.

Rich.
