Dometic RM2852 Not Getting Power After Cooling Unit Replaced

Recommended Posts

We replaced the cooling unit on our RM2852 after an ammonia leak.

We noticed that the interior light stopped working shortly after we realized the ammonia leak. We unplugged it as soon as we discovered the leak. We removed the frig and took it to have the cooling unit replaced. After putting the frig back in and connecting the wiring, we have power up to the lower control board but then it stops. There is no power at the eyebrow. A new lower control board did not solve the problem. Is there some kind of reset switch or any other power switch that anyone knows of? The wiring is all connected exactly as before we removed it.

A lead tester indicates all power sources are fine up to the lower control board and then it stops somewhere between there and the eyebrow control.

Any ideas?

There is a reset button on the igniter burner tube! Nothing in any of the paperwork or owners manual that we have said anything about a reset button. Oh well ya live and pay to learn! :P I now refer to it as my $60.00 reset button.
