edanddiane Report post Posted February 17, 2014 I have a '93 Jeep with a 350 Chevy engine, 700R transmission with Atlas transfer case, 4WD with dual shifters for the front and rear axles respectively. Each shifter has a high, low and neutral for each axle. I have checked several sources and have been unable to determine whether it can be towed 4 wheels down, without modification. Has anyone ever come across this type of setup and can it be towed 4 wheels down?Jimmy Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
huffypuff Report post Posted February 18, 2014 I don't know about the transfer case but the transmission should be OK in park. Normally the transfer case is in neutral if it self lubricates, check with the manufacturer. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
