Fan-Tastic Vent Fan Stuck "On" Aand "Open"

My fan-tastic vent fan is stuck in the "On and open" position. I took the switch off the wall and unplugged the wire from the back and it stayed on and the vent stayed open.

Does anyone have any ideas.

I'm currently at work so at this time do not have the model number.

To close your cover there should be a knob in the corner of the fan. You can pull the knob down and manually close the cover. Your fan should stop when the cover is closed. If it does not stop the fan control know can be turned to the off position. This should get your cover closed and the fan stopped. Please call Fan-Tastic and talk to a tech, they are great.
