carlpeterson Report post Posted April 28, 2014 I have a 2006 Gas Safari Simba 33ft. with a Norcold Lrm 1200 refrigerator. Works on AC OK, but not on LP. There is gas in the line because the stove works okay. On LP, sometimes it lights, but won't stay on. I've seen this problem on other forums but can't find it. Any suggestions on what to try will be appreciated.
wolfe10 Report post Posted April 28, 2014 Carl, Start with the free stuff-- Do a "burner area tune-up". Thing that can cause this that will be addressed by the tune-up: Rust flakes, dirt or insect nest in the burner causing low flame. Spec of dirt in the propane jet. Improper placement of the igniter/thermocouple or dirt on it, insect nest, etc. While you are out there (all this outside access door), clean and tighten the 12 VDC connection at the back of the refrigerator. No parts and no special tools are needed.

carlpeterson Report post Posted April 29, 2014 Brett- I opened up the back where the burner and exhaust tube are, all I saw was a black cylinder. I guess the burner is inside, but couldn't figure out how to get to it.
