Any St. Augustine RV Campground Suggestions?

Recommended Posts

North Beach Camp Resort. It sits between the intracoastal waterway and the ocean. You just have to cross the highway to get to the ocean but it's easy. Sites are hardpacked sand with lots of oak tree cover, but some are more exposed than others. And most have tree/bush separation between sites. There are 2 great restaurants within walking distance - Cap's on the Water (on the intracoastal) and The Reef (on the ocean). A 3rd restaurant, Aunt Kate's, backs up to the campground on the intracoastal has mixed reviews.

This campground sits between 2 very nice neighborhoods that you can walk or ride bikes through.

Enjoy your stay!

Another suggestion if the beach doesn't suit you would be Stagecoach RV Park. It's right off I-95 & Hwy 16 - near the outlet malls. We had friends staying there. Nothing exciting but acceptable and I'm sure cheaper. It's off of the major highway. Might look at www.rvparkreviews.com to see if anyone makes a comment on highway noise.

If you want on the ocean Bryn Mawr across the bridge on Anastasia Island is right on the Atlantic with beautiful views and nice beach. The lots are privately owned and rented through the office. It is gated and in a good location. Used to stay there and drive to Daytona which is about 60 miles for Daytona 500. Coastal highway to Daytona is a pretty drive and has restaurant that serves good breakfast. There is also a KOA close to town that we have stayed in. Enjoy!
