Good evening.

My wife and I have been RVing for 11 years, two in a travel trailer, five in a fifth wheel, and for the last four years in a Class A diesel pusher. I don't know why we waited so long to join FMCA, but we just did today.

We are a couple of years from retirement, so we are tied down to our jobs, but we still manage to use the motorhome and travel across this great country of ours for approximately 10 weeks out of the year.

We bought a new unit and love traveling in it so much that we have only taken one vacation where we didn't use the motorhome.

We're looking forward to participating in and learning from the discussions about this lifestyle on FMCA.com.

Keith

The Wife and I are also new to the FMCA but also very very new to RVing. Going on 9 months with our C and Smart car toad. In our mid 40's and feel like the kids on the block. After much prior research on motor homing, I felt it a must to join the FMCA right off. Big benefits. Hoping in November to make a run from Cleveland Ohio to San Francisco CA. (3 weeks, just the Wife and I). Kinda peace of mind knowing the FMCA is along for the trip.

Welcome to Keith (Letsgoagain) and Rcexplorer,

We joined FMCA when we purchased our first coach. We joined several other RV organizations but none has been as important to us as FMCA. Once you retire, you can really enjoy the motor home! For the young, great to get an early start enjoying the benefits of motor home travel.

We really enjoy the rallies and conventions. Hope to see you at one soon. Enjoy the trip from Cleveland to SF, great scenery on the way!

Tom

Welcome.

I to am a newby to FMCA. I have been RVing since 1973 when I bought a Chevy van that was outfitted as a camper, fold down bed, two burner propane stove, and an "ice" box. We traveled all ove Germany, Luxemburg and Belgium. We bought our Beaver 40' DP last year and have put it to good use since. We are about three years from going fulltime, waiting for DW to retire.
