View Since Last Visit

Recommended Posts

I reported an issue in that when there are more than one pages of View New content that when selecting the second page, nothing is shown. That was fixed last week, but now today, when View New Content is selected, nothing shows. I went back and selected anything in the past 24 hours and there were numerous postings that I had now read, and I had not been in the Forums earlier today.

View New Content appears to be working. It provides me with a decent picture of unread content -- New since last visit, Past 24 hours, Content I have not yet read, etc. Anyone else experiencing issues?

No matter what I do I get this message: "Sorry, no new content found."

Cleared caches, cookies and all other related items. Search for keyword FMCA on computer and deleted everything I found. Logged back in and same message.

I am computer literate. Well, at least I think I am having retired as an Information Security Specialist.

To no avail I am still getting the "Sorry, no new content found," whenever I click on "view new content."

I have tried holding my mouth different ways, standing on my head, laying down, and cleaning all caches and information pertaining to FMCA on this computer, starting new, only to get the same message.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and especially if they work.

Wayne,

First thank you for your service.

I clicked on "View New Content" and found your message at the top. For some reason it is working for me.

Wayne,

If there have been no new posts since you last checked, you will/should get that message.

Are you getting "no new content" message when there HAVE been new posts since you were last on-line?

I have never had that happen to me, but if it is happening to you, on Tuesday, I can put you in touch with a support person at FMCA.

I just open the Forum and clicked on "View new Contents" went right to a list of 8 or 9 postings I had not read, this being one. Wayne, it might be a Marine thing. :)

The failures to "View New Content" are not consistent. Just now, I could not View New Content since last visit and the system would not let me change to view last 24 hours. Then my logon disappeared. Went back to Main, and my logon was there. So I logged out and relogged in. Went to Forums and was able to View New since last visit. The problem of not being able to View New since last visit seems to happen most often on weekends. Most of the time I am able to change to last 24 hours, but as I said earlier I could not this time. I think the problem is that the two systems do not communicate logons consistently..

Brett, I get the message regardless of how many posts have been made. Clicking on past 24 hours or any other time frame results in the same message.

Ross, I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one - but mine is a consistent message. I can wait two days and there could be 20 posts but I still get the message that there is no new content.

Herman, I said I held my mouth correctly. Sheesh!

Well, I can attest to the fact that it is not my computer. I visted the Apple store today, logged into this forum and asked to view new content.

Nada - nothing, same old reply, "Sorry, no new content found."

Someone at the server please push the reset button - just for me, please.

Well, I have not had a reply from any of the system administrators so the problem just continues. At least now I'm not alone.
