mthurma Report post Posted February 6, 2016 My manual says to turn key to accessory to unlock steering. I am worried about battery running down. Is that a problem? How do I remedy. Thank you for any input.
wolfe10 Report post Posted February 6, 2016 Mthurma, Welcome to the FMCA Forum. I have no specific knowledge of your model, but do know on the 2014 Hyundai Elantra manual transmission, you turn the key to ON and back to OFF (not accessory). The steering column stays unlocked as long as the key is in the ignition.
