Welcome to the Community and it is nice to have a new fellow blogger.

This is my 1st RV re-model. I am a Master Carpenter specializing in Victorian restoration.and was a theater stage scenic designer and builder for almost 30yrs.

With this project I am using every skill I ever acquired over the years to complete it.

Made it a lot easier to deal with when I realized it's just another home re-model, albeit a small one.

Working on the re-model of the Beast. I must say it is a challenge to be sure.

Starting from an empty shell is a plus in so many ways.

With the GMC you also have to deal with the body curve. Once you have the proper templates made it's so much easier.

Then it becomes a geometry exercise. It's times like these I'm glad I paid some attention in my math classes.

So when a kid asks "Why do I need to know this stuff?" I can show him.

It took me about 15 working days to strip out the old interior, another 9 replace everything on the roof, AC, vent fans, plumbing vents and reseal all the windows.

Then do all the body work to seal up the endless leaks before I put a single stick of wood inside.

At present I have framed the bedroom up and most of the bathroom in preparation of curly redwood Victorian inspired interior.
