Now we have a mystery on our hands. I went to retrieve Melvin from the closet and he was missing. Either I can't remember where I put him or he's on the lamb.

Daylight was wasting and t-storms threatened, so we left without him. If he isn't found tonight, I'll by several milk cartons tomorrow and put his picture on them. Anybody know John Walsh's cell phone number?

First stop was The Fountain of Youth. The rain held off and we had a long relaxing stroll through this wonderful attraction. It had something for everyone. Even Oscar was allowed in! Many park employees were dressed in period costume, large trees a bunch, peacocks roaming free, and they even had a cannon fire demonstration.

As we left the park we drove down a street that had a full canopy of Sprawling trees. Then we took a leisure drive into old St. Augustine. Wonderful old and stately homes surrounded by mature shrubs and trees of various varieties.

Before we headed back we also found the light house. You know I'm crazy about them. This one is now surrounded by newer homes and a school. I imagine there was very little on the island when the lighthouse was built. In spite of that, I managed a couple good shots.

After a stop at the hardware store and super market we found our way back to Gracie.

Another great day of retirement.

Oh, no worries, the shower head cleaned up fine and works better than ever. The hardware stop was to buy some coat hooks. We didn't have one in Gracie. I don't care if the woodwork is solid cherry, I needed a place to hang my hat!
