Actually got a great nights sleep. Up at 8 and ready to go by 9. We hit the Waffle House on our way back to the highway. Just as I started up the Burb, I realized I didn't try the Waffles! Oh well my eggs and hash browns were just fine.

Drizzly rain and more fog today. Slow going, but we hope to make Jacksonville.

Nothing exciting on the road today. Made Jacksonville about 7 PM and we were beat. However it was eat a good supper night. We found a stake house and I had a wonderful filet. Ruth had brisket with massed potatoes. We shared, yummy.

Then it was out in the cold FL air temp. of 62 for a short ride back to the motel.

This morning I was startled awake at 8 AM sharp by a 3 piece FLORDIA band. Two leave blowers and a weed wicker. Wish they had started their day on the other side of the property.

Again we went to Waffle House. This time I did have waffles and they were great. Seems like every corner has one.

Soon we were on I10 on our way to Tampa. Since we had some time on our hands we took a side trip to Tarpon Springs (Sponge capital of the world). With exception of sponges in every store, it's just like any other sea shore tourist trap. 2 hours of window shopping and we had enough. As dark set in, we were in search of one last motel.

Tomorrow we get Gracie out of storage and settle into our winter home. Just 2 days at "happy traveler" and we move further south to the Naples area.
