have a 2012 ford escape hybrid - tows like a charm

Towing a 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid 4 wheels down for over 10,000 miles and no problems.

Very few hybrids are approved for towing. Most say no way. Are there any towable hybrids other than Fords?

Toyota Prius says "no way".

 

Does anyone know if there's any pure electric vehicles that can be towed with all four wheels down....?

I do not think there are any Battery Electric Vehicles approved for flat tow yet. Our Leaf followed us on a few trips on a dolly while we had it, when we knew that we were going to stay within it's 80 mile round trip range to camp. Great conversation starter.

Just saw this.  We tow a 2013 Ford C-MAX auto tranny hybrid 4-down.  EZ tow with no reasonable limitations towing. Just remember to keep it in neutral and do not even turn the accessory on or battery will drain. Negative side of cheaper gas prices? Hybrids like this are not selling well and are being discontinued along w many other sedan/small crossovers and SUVs. Sorry to see the C-MAX go along with them.
