Thank you for your really helpful, insightful answer. While the device may work fine within it's limits, it is inadequate to support my needs.

I was hoping to hear testimony that it's been done and it works to mitigate the risk of a $1500 spend on something that's a shot in the dark. Even if they say it should work, does it really?

Sorry if I'm a bone head or something, but why is there no obvious answer to the question of: Will the Sprint FMCA Tech Connect+ sim card work with the Pepwave Transit Duo or not? Are there additional hoops that have to be jumped through to get it to work? Is it as simple as pull it out of the MiFi they gave us and put it in the Pepwave (using their simcard adapter) and go? Or do you have to call FMCA tech support to give them the IMEI of the Pepwave to get it to work? Thanks in advance for any forthright answers provided. 🙂
