Two years ago I purchased a gently used 2020 MY motorhome from a large national dealer. I chose this particular unit because I thought it had the new Ford V8 F53. It was marketed as a V8 and has the “V8” emblem on the side of the coach. I recently discovered it has a V10. I checked the VIN on the Ford website just to make sure my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me. Sure enough it’s a V10. I don’t see any obvious signs the V8 badge was added or altered after the fact. Has anyone else encountered this? Any ideas on what to do next? I have our family attorney researching options. Can’t find any other example of this on the Google.
