Enabled AGS when starting a trip to start gen set if inverter drew down batteries while traveling. Generator started immediately even though none of the parameters were exceed. Turned genset off. It, started back up. Turned AGS and genset off. Genset started up. No matter what I did, the gen set started up. Gave up and drove all day with gen set running. Parked for the night and started trying to get the gen set to stay off. Pulled "generator over ride fuse". Gen set started up. AGS still off, but gen set still started. Finally went to AGS control box, ready green light was on and gen run light started to blink when gen set was turned off indicating gen set would start by it self and it did. Out of ideas, I did what any one would do, I started disconnecting things.
When I disconnected what looked like a phone connection on the AGS control box marked "network" the run light went out and the gen set DID NOT START! I don't need the generator unless the the dash air needs help here in Arizona. Ideas are welcome. Control is Magnum control. Gen set is 8000 Onan Quiet diesel with 1000 hours.
