Connect the red wire to the wire that went to the original sensor. Connect the black wire to ground. When the sensor is wet it completes the circuit and keeps the "Low Water Level" light OFF. If the sensor gets dry the light comes on.

The sensor and electrical adapter I bought was $26 each. Check on eBay.

They are Ford part numbers. Found the parts on eBay. Tasca Parts can get both items.

Here is what I found. The level sensor is Ford part XC4Z-10D968-AA. The electrical adapter is Ford part F6HZ14A382AA.

I am replacing my surge bottle and it has a side outlet for the level sensor. Where can I purchase a replacement level sensor for my 2001 Monaco Knight? Thanks!

Brett, Thanks for the response. I tried to send you a PM but I guess this forum does not offer PMs. So my question is: Where is a good place to purchase tires for a MH in the Houston area (preferably near Kingwood) that has knowledge of RV tires and not just truck tires? I have called numerous places but they do not know that an RV tire is different from a truck tire. Thanks again for your help.

Brett, Thanks for the quick response. Could you please explain a "larger" size? Monaco's recommended size is 255/70R/22.5H. Thanks again.

I have a 2001 Monaco Knight that requires 255/70R/22.5H tires. Michelin makes the XZE* for $3,500 installed. Goodrich makes the ST230 for $2,400 installed. Is there really any difference in these tires? Thanks.

Brett, I read your post on the RR4R chassis problems but I think since this one is a 2001 with a Neway suspension it should be OK. Let me know if you hear back on the Source Engineering's Ride Enhancement Kit. BTW, I live in Kigwood, TX so I may be calling you for other advice. Thanks.

I am looking at a 2001 Monaco Knight. I think it has a Roadmaster RR4R chassis. I've been reading on the forum that the RR4R is not nearly as smooth riding as the RR8R chassis. (The standard chassis on the newer Monaco Knight coaches is the RR8R.) Can I add more air bags to improve the ride? Thanks for your replies.
