But, like Bill, I will stick with chlorine as my tank disinfectant when I need to sanitize my potable water tank. And I do that anytime the water in the tank is over 2 weeks old in the summer or 3 weeks old in the winter.

What horrible place are you getting water from? Fill routinely from any certified public water system in the country and there is no need to do all of this 'treatment'. Been fulltiming 5 years and just use public water systems and never have a problem.

If anyone is thinking about 1000T, they should look at getting a Zone Pass for a year and trying it out. No obligation after that year, first 30 nights free with the dues, then $3.00 after that. We use them about 50 nights a year (have 2 Zone pass) that covers the west coast. If you are on the west coast, definitely will pay for itself every year.
