I post a few days back about my problem with brake lights on the Newmar/Freightliner chassis. Sure enough it was the diodes in the circuit that were fried/brokedown. Replace them with 6 amp blocking diodes for a grand total cost of $3.46 verses Frieightliner cost of $182.00. Freightliner tech guys were great in diagonis but the diodes wer NOT located at the base of the steering column. There were under the hood in a bundle of wires. Long story but I have brake lights.
