Towing a 2011 Lincoln MKZ hybrid with navigation, there is a 4.2 amp draw from the start battery with everything I can turn off, off including the nav screen, verbally. This drains the battery every day towed, requiring external battery charger over night to restore charge. On my third battery in six weeks. Ford says this is normal and recommends installation of a battery minder. I feel the owners manual is misleading not providing this information to the buyer; stating essentially you only need to put the care in neutral and the key in accessory. Jon Cook
