Last year my wife and I joined the ranks of motor home enthusiast when we purchased, our first motor home, a 2011 Tiffin Open Road. Now that the manufacturer’s warranty is about to expire, we are investigating options relating to purchasing an extended warranty policy. Trying to evaluate available extended warranty policies and determine precisely what coverage is provided/needed is challenging for us, so we thought we’d reach out to the FMCA community to see if you have any suggestions or recommendations regarding companies we should consider as a viable provider of an extended warranty policy.
In addition to recommending a prospective company from which to purchase an extended warranty policy, please provide any information you can regarding how the recommended company services its policyholders. As indicated previously, my wife and I are new motor home owners, so share with us any advice/suggestions you believe will assist us in making a good decision in selecting a company providing an extended warranty policy for our motor hone.
