  1. Greetings from Minnesota, My fiancee and I purchased our 2007 American coach Eagle 42f in the summer of 2009. Neither one of us had any previous RV knowledge. I have heard, when your new to rving your called a "newbie". Heck, we were so green, we considered ourselves "Premies". DUE to my disability, I am in a wheelchair and cannot drive nor assist physically in any way, shape or form. The first time we were able to drive the coach was after a company in central Oregon converted to be wheelchair accessible. She was provided only two hours of training prior to us hitting the road in the mountains of Oregon and towing our minivan. Fortunately, we have driven 27,000 miles without putting a scratch in the coach. However, that does not mean we have not had any close calls or challenges along the way. It is important to have your mirrors adjusted properly before leaving. Whenever you come about barriers and other tight/narrow passageways, use a reference point on the left side [such as the white line on the highway]. She would have many pointers for you if you would ever need. Feel free to contact us. Dennis Terning Cokato, Minnesota American Coach 42f
