Helicopter Crew/Recip Mechanic specializing in the venerable H-34 "Seahorse". Medevac, Resupply, Sparrowhawk and Vertical Envelopement missions in mostly South Vietnam, from Ky Ha, Chu Lai to Danang, Dong Ha and Phu Bai. Spent a little time aboard the USS Okinawa LPH-5 in the South China Sea. Upon returning to the U.S. I found myself "baby sitting" as a Turnkey at Camp Pendleton Brig until mustered out in '69. Re-enlist? No thank you.
No, you CAN tell a Marine, but you can't tell them much, especially if all you can do is talk. Proud to be a Marine.
