I have a 2000 Country Coach Magna with a Caterpillar C10 Engine. The Caterpillar Engine Information Display (Cat ID) has stopped working. It will appear to come on when I start the engine, but after a few seconds it will flash a few times and go dark. I have checked the connections and all seems in order. My fear is that I will have to replace the Cat ID unit. If I replace the unit, will it need to be programmed or will it work automatically when plugged in?
