Thanks, I tried that at lunch and it did not stop. I don't think it is the flame that is roaring now, but it is coming from the heater. You can hear it very good inside the motorhome but can't hardly hear it from the outside.

What cause a hot water tank to whistle when there is no build up on the air intake?
