  1. Follow up. Great trip. We even went the back way thru Las Vegas, NM, and had spectacular scenery along the river and mountain passes. The road less traveled. At times we slowed to 15 mph due to winding road, but NO issues. 35 ft mh pulling a jeep toad. The diesel performance was excellent as expected!

  2. I tow a 2012 Jeep GC Overland with a Roadmaster 10k rated tow bar with Air Force One brake system. The keyless entry cover must be removed to use the "key" portion of the fob. On the 2012, you can not remove the fob without putting the ignition in the "off" position. As the previous post, you can not lock the doors without removing the fob. It's really a piece of cake to place the transmission in park and the tranny in neutral. Do all this with the engine off, and the ignition on, but motor not running. Complete and accurate instructions came in the owner's manual in the glove box. No battery use or mileage recorded. Only caveat, the LED indicator to be placed on the rear view mirror is VERY difficult to see in the rear camera of the MH. The TPMS would alert to a problem, but I would like to know when the toad brakes are activated. Considering a way to wire an indicator to the front of the MH for the toad brake lights.

  3. Basically I really like the 7710. The "glare" problem has not been an issue as I mount the screen on the driver window above my head. The unit reads the satellites just fine thru any roof blockage. I agree that the routing could be a more friendly method of choosing an alternate way. The unique features for guiding a route with your specific height and weight characteristics is great. Also alerting you to food, gas etc at the next exit works well.

Question: I am running the software on a MacPro laptop. Every time I boot up the RM tries to open its site which has to be force quit to stop the process. Any suggestions?
