I would read through these RV internet articles and get comfortable with all the options.

We use Verizon MIFI but that may not be the best fit for you. Cost, Coverage, Usage Patterns, and a few other factors play into this decision.

Chuck,
I had this happen to me a year ago. It turned out it was a soldering connection inside the TV. When the TV warmed up the connection was impaired then once it was cool it would work. If you know your way around controller board you may be able to fix it. Otherwise it might be time for an upgrade. I went the upgrade route. I am not sure what size tv you have but I went with a 26" vizio for around $175 (This model)which i thought was pretty good.
Hope it works out for you.

Concerning the secure connection you are looking for on campground WiFi...
In the address bar, web sites usually begin with http:\\... When you log into a secure website the address should change to https:\\... The "s" on the end of the address designates a secure site using Secure Socket Layer protocol, which is a secure internet connection.
You can read all about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTPS
When you visit sites like banking most should have secure connections (https). If it doesnt than you may want to get a new bank! Even most email services are https! I would look at top coating your roof and re doing the seams. There are several You tube videos showing how to do it. I bet it would be cheaper than Camping World.
Bill
Thanks for the video. It still looks daunting either way. What does Camping World charge for the repair?

I enjoy that the prince of Unganda has chosen me to help him with his financial transactions. If he saw my track record for handling money they would know that they are the one being ripped off.....not me.
