Kind of reopening an old thread, but the problem we are having is the smell of death coming from our toilet when flushing. We always clean the black tank well and use a holding tank treatment at the start of every use. My trailer is plugged into an RV spot at a park right now and we only get to use it on the weekends. We are hooked to water and sewer, but I keep tank valves closed and drain at the end of every weekend. A friend flushed a little Clorox through their black tank and it seemed to kill most of the odor, so I was going to try that this weekend. After reading on here, I'm going to also check my roof vent... but again, the smell is only flooding the bathroom when I flush the toilet. Any other thoughts would be appreciated.
