I am towing a 2013 F150 4x4 King Ranch with the 3.5L ecoboost V-6. The truck is ready to tow from the factory with NO restriction as to speed or length of trip. I cannot be happier with a vehicle. I am using a blue ox towbar and a SMI AirForce 1 braking system. All there is to ready the truck to tow after towbar is hooked up, turn ignition switch to on not starting engine, place transmission in NEUTRAL, with foot on the brake pedal the whole time, then switch transfer case switch from 2H to 4L 5 time in 7 seconds and on the dash readout will come up " neutral tow enabled" now turn switch to next position off, but you cannot pull out key as you must leave truck in neutral while towing. I have towed the truck for 4 days straight and did not have to start the truck with NO battery problems what so ever. This whole procedure is explained in the owners manual in great detail.
