I am thinking of purchasing a 2014 Jeep Cherokee 4 x 4 to tow behind my Newmar Dutchstar. Is it necessary to get the Jeep transmission Active Drive II option to flat tow the vehicle? and what does that option do?

Has anyone used the Air Force One brake system that ties into the coach's air brakes? I'm setting up a tow vehicle for my 2003 4005 Dutch Star. Would like to know any pros or cons on this system. http://www.smibrake.com/air-force-one.html On another note, I am purchasing a 2014 Cheep Cherokee Latitude. Does anyone know if in order to tow it I must get the transmission upgrade option with Jeep active drive II?
